When God calls you into the hard places, do you think God looks at us differently than he did the Israelites? In episode 21, I dive into Joshua and crossing the Jordan River.
God was finally releasing the Israelites after 40 years in the wilderness. He wanted the people to know, "I am with you." He is with us today. Before they went, he gave Joshua specific instructions for the journey. They had to purify themselves, cross at flood level, the priests carrying the ark had to stop in the middle, and they were to build a memorial.
How does that look to you today? What area has God called you to influence. God wants us, his born again believers, to operate in the many areas of influence. Many times he doesn't give us the solution until we TRUST HIM.
What are the rivers or obstacles in your life? Focus on him and remember who is guiding you.
Doing right is more important than doing well.
Trust him and take that first step into your calling and drive out what stands in your way.
