The Resilient Heart Podcast

Sep 10, 2021

Sherry Smith, LMFT, CDC is a psychotherapist, Certified Divorce Coach, coparent coach, author, speaker, and podcast host. Combining her expertise in family therapy, her training as a divorce coach, and her own life experience, Sherry has made the commitment to promote a non-adversarial divorce environment that is sensitive to the family system. She believes the children of divorce can become traumatized based on how the divorce is handled versus the divorce itself.

Sherry also enjoys helping people build resiliency from their divorce experience and build the life of their dreams post-divorce.

In her spare time, she can be found spending time in nature, hiking a mountain, trying out a new restaurant, listening to live music, or spending time with friends and family.

She says “if a client comes to me soon enough, we can help them do it in a way that keeps the relationship amicable. So they can preserve some co-parenting, relationship”

Some of the topics we discussed today:

Toxic relationships
